Upcoming Free Classes Sponsored by CCPC

dogs and people

Dogs and people gather for a benefit dog walk and obedience class.

A recent news story told of a postal carrier in Chartiers City who was bitten by two dogs who’d gotten loose from their fenced back yard. The dogs are still with the owner but because they didn’t have proof of current rabies vaccines they are quarantined to the house for ten days. Also as a consequence mail is not being delivered for those ten days. the postal carrier was hospitalized but is expected to recover.

Incidents like these remind us that even in familiar circumstances we might encounter an aggressive dog and it’s good to be prepared for how to deal with the dog and protect yourself.

Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation  is sponsoring two instructional classes on August 17 at the Bridgeville Public Library.
