When you need to be with your pet throughout the entire cremation process, Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation can accommodate your wishes by offering an attended cremation.

Some families find that it is enough to give a final kiss goodbye while others view the entire process from start to finish. For some families, a more involved approach is desired and these families choose to have an attended cremation. With this choice, you are present here at the crematory to witness the cremation process. I explain each part of the process and let you decide what you want or don’t want to see. There is a comfortable living room area that provides a cozy space for you to relax in during the cremation.

Every family grieves the loss of their pet in their own way. For some, this completes the circle of care that began the day they brought the pet into their family.

An attended cremation may be available when you call but since it requires the exclusive dedication of four to five hours of my time, it usually needs to be scheduled. In the meantime, I can receive your pet and preserve the body until the start of the attended cremation.

There is no one correct way to say goodbye. Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation offers each family multiple alternatives to best meets your needs. The attended cremation may provide your best way to say one final farewell to your beloved companion.

You can read more about the handmade cloth bag and other details about how I handle and create a presentation of your pet’s cremains as part of every cremation I do on the page From Your Hands to Mine.
